        ऋषिकेश गंगा गंगा नदी किनारे बसा एक खूबसूरत शहर है। जो उत्तराखंड राज्य के देहरादून जिले की फक खूबसूरत तहसील है। यह शहर योग के लिए बहुत प्रशिद्ध जगह है जो दुनिया भर में जनि जाती है। इस जगह को दुनिया की योग राजधानी भी कहा जाता है। जो अपनी एक अलग ही पहचान बनाये हुए है यहां लक्छ्मण झूला, राम झूला आकर्षण के केंद्र है यहां अगर आप शांतिप्रिय है और मन को शांति के साथ कुछ समय अलग बिताना चाहते है। यहां गंगा नदी किनारे बहुत आश्रम बने हुए है जो आपके रुकने के लिए बहुत ही सूंदर जगह है जहां आपको हर सुविधाओं के सरे  उपलब्ध है। यहां के आश्रम दुनियां भर में फेमस है जहां हर तरह की शांति  अहसास होता है। और साथ ही गंगा नदी तो है ही जहां बैठकर घंटो बिता सकते है और गंगा नदी की निर्मल धारा एक अलग ही अहसास कराती है। जहां घूमने के लिए बहुत सारा जगह है। ऋषिकेश को उत्तराखंड राज्य में स्थित चारों धाम का प्रवेश द्वार माना जाता है। यहां के आश्रम दुनिया भर में प्रशिद्ध है जो लोगों को ओर ध्यान और मन की शांति के लिए अपनी और आकर्षित करते है। 

                                                      ऋषिकेश के आकर्षण 

१ -लक्छ्मण झूला:-गंगा नदी के एक किनारे से दूसरे किनारे को जोड़ता हुआ एक प्रमुख आकर्षण का केंद्र है इसे १९९६ में बनवाया गया था। झूले का प्रमुख आकर्षण झूले के बीच में पहुंचने पर झूला हिलता हुआ प्रतीत होता है। ४५० फ़ीट लम्बे इस झूला के किनारे पर लक्षमण और रघुनाथ मंदिर बने है। झूले पर खड़े होकर लोग खूबसूरत नजारों का आनंद ले सकते है लक्छ्मण झूला के ही समानान्तर ही राम झूला बना  हुआ है। यह झूला शिवानंद और स्वर्ग आश्रम के बीच में बना हुआ है। इसी कारण राम झूला को शिवानन्द झूला के भी नाम से जाना जाता है। 

२-त्रवेणी घाट:- यहां त्रिवेणी घाट एक प्रमुख घाट है जहां गंगा नदी में बहुत से श्रद्धालु प्रात काल में करते है। इसी स्थान से गंगा नदी दाई और मूड़ जाती है। यहां होने  वाली आरती प्रतिदिन होती है यह नजारा इतना अद्भुत होता है कि इसे देखने यहां बहुत पर्यटक आते है। 

३-नील कंठ मंदिर:-यह मंदिर ऋषिकेश से १४ किमी दुरी पर स्वर्ग आश्रम की पहाड़ी की चोटी पर स्थित है। कहा जाता है कि समुद्र मंथन से प्राप्त हलाहल विष को भगवान शिव ने अपने कंठ में धारण कर लिया था जिस कारण उनका कंठ नीला पड़ गया और भगवान शिव नीलकंठ कहलाये। और यह स्थान नीलकंठ कहलाया। 

४-गंगा किनारे बने आश्रम:-यहां गंगा किनारे बहुत आश्रम बने हुए है जिसमे सबसे पुराना स्वर्ग आश्रम है जिसे स्वामी विशुद्धानन्द ने स्थापित किया था। स्वामी विशुद्धानन्द जी को काली कमली वाले नाम से भी जाना जाता है। आश्रमों के किनारे बहुत रेस्टोरेंट बने हुए है जिसमे केवल शाकाहारी भोजन ही मिलता है 

५-रिवर राफ्टिंग:- यहां गंगा नदी में रिवर राफ्टिंग भी की जाती है।

1-Lakshman Jhula: - A major center of attraction connecting one side of the Ganges River to the other, it was built in 1979. The swing appears to be moving when the swing reaches the center of the swing. Laxman and Raghunath temples are built on the edge of this swing, 750 feet long. People can enjoy beautiful views by standing on the swing, Ram Jhula is made parallel to Lakshman Jhula. This swing is made between Shivanand and Swarga Ashram. For this reason, Ram Jhula is also known as Shivanand Jhula.

2-Triveni Ghat: - Here Triveni Ghat is a major ghat where many devotees do the Ganga river in the morning. From this place the river Ganges flows to Dai and Mud. Aarti to be held here is a sight that is so amazing that many tourists come here to see it.

3-Neel Kantha Temple: -This temple is situated on the top of the hill of Swarg Ashram, 14 km away from Rishikesh. It is said that Lord Shiva carried the poison of saliva derived from the churning of the sea in his throat, due to which his throat became blue and Lord Shiva called Neelkanth. And this place was called Neelkanth.

४ Ashram built on the banks of the Ganges: - There is a lot of ashram here on the banks of the Ganges, in which the oldest is the Ashram, which was established by Swami Vishuddhanand. Swami Vishuddhanand ji is also known by the name Kali Kamali. There are many restaurants on the banks of the ashram, in which only vegetarian food is available.

5-River Rafting: - River Rafting is also done here in the river Ganges.

                                                               रणथम्भोर दुर्ग 

        शूरवीरों की आन-बान शान का प्रतीक रणथम्भौर किला राजस्थान का एक प्राचीन और  प्रमुख दुर्ग है। जो यहां के  राजाओं की शूरवीरता को दर्शाता है यह किला राजस्थान के बीहड़ वन और दुर्ग घाटियों के बीच स्थित है। यह दुर्ग विशिष्ट सामरिक स्थिति और जटिल संरचना के कारण अजेय माना जाता है। यह किला दिल्ली और मेवाड़ के बीच में स्थित होने के कारण इस किले पर सबसे ज्यादा आक्रमण होते रहे है किन्तु यह दुर्ग ऊँचे गिरी शिखर पर बना है और इसकी विलक्षरता के कारण दुर्ग के समीप जाने पर ही यह दिखाई देता है। रणथम्भौर का वास्तविक नाम रन्त:पुर है जिसका मतलब रण की घाटी में स्थित शहर। रण उस पहाड़ी का नाम है जो किले की पहाड़ी से कुछ नीचे है और थंभ जिस पर किला बना हुआ है इसी कारण इसका नाम रणथम्भौर हो गया। यह किला चारो और पहाडियों से घिरा हुआ है जो इसकी चारों ओर से सुरक्षा करती है यहाँ पहुंचने का मार्ग सकरा व् तंग घाटी से होकर सर्पिलाकार है। जिसमे हम्मीर महल,रानी महल,कचहरी,सुपारी महल,बादल-महल,जौरा-भौरा,३२ खम्भों की छतरी,रनिहाड़ तालाब पीर सादृड्डदीन की दरगाह,लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर जैन मंदिर तथा समूचे देश में प्रशिद्ध गणेश जी का मंदिर दुर्ग के प्रमुख दर्शनीय स्थान है। किले के पार्श्व में तालाब तथा अन्य जलाशय है। इतिहास प्रशिद्ध रणथम्भौर दुर्ग के निर्माण की तिथि तथा उसके निर्माताओं के बारे में सही जानकारी नहीं बताता। 

       इस किले को सर्बाधिक गौरव मिला यहाँ के वीर और पराक्रमी राजा राव हम्मीर देव चौहान के अनुपम त्याग़ और बलिदान से। हम्मीर ने सुल्तान अलाउद्दीन खिलजी के विद्रोही सेनापति मेरे मुहम्मदशाह को अपने यहां शरण प्रदान की जिसे दण्डित करने तथा अपनी साम्राज्यवादी महत्वकाँक्षा की पूर्ति हेतु अलाउद्दीन ने १३०१ ई. में रणथम्भौर पर एक विशाल सेना के साथ आक्रमण किया। पहले उसने अपने सेनापति नुसरत खां को रणथम्भौर विजय के लिए भेजा लेकिन     दुर्ग की घेराबंदी में दुर्ग की सेना द्वारा फेके गए पत्थरो से वह मारा गया। इस कारण से अलाउद्दीन स्वंय विजय के लिए आया और दुर्ग को चारों ओर से घेर लिया वीर हम्मीर ने इस आक्रमण का जोरदार मुकाबला किया। 

     इस किले में विश्व धरोहर में शामिल त्रिनेत्र गणेश जी का मंदिर विराजमान है अरावली और विंध्याचल की पहाड़ियों के बीच गणेश मंदिर तक धार्मिक आस्था लेकर पहुंचना एक अलग ही अनुभव कराता है। यह मंदिर भारत के चार स्वम्भू मंदिरों में से एक है और यहां भारत के ही नहीं बल्कि विश्व भर से लोग दर्शन करने के लिए आते है,मनौती मांगते है औऱ गणेश भगवान पूरी करते है। पूरी दुनिया में गणेश जी का यह अकेला मंदिर है जहां वे अपने पुरे परिवार दो पत्नी रिद्धि -सिद्धि और दो पुत्र शुभ और लाभ के साथ विराजमान है। जयपुर से यह मंदिर १४२ किलोमीटर की दुरी पर सवाई माधोपुर जिला मुख्यालय पर स्थित है। और सवाई माधोपुर से १३ किलोमीटर दूर करीब १५७९ फ़ीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है।

                                                  Ranthambore Fort

        Ranthambore Fort is an ancient and prominent fortress of Rajasthan symbolizing the pride of the knights. Which shows the valor of the kings here, this fort is situated between the rugged forests and fortification valleys of Rajasthan. This fort is considered invincible due to its unique strategic position and complex structure. Due to this fort being situated between Delhi and Mewar, this fort has been attacked the most, but this fort is built on a high fallen peak and it is visible only when approaching the fort due to its illiteracy. Ranthambore's real name is Runta Pur which means city located in the valley of Rann. Ran is the name of the hill which is a little below the hill of the fort and the pillar on which the fort is built, hence the name became Ranthambore. This fort is surrounded by four more hills which protects it from all around, the path to reach here is spiral in the narrow and narrow valley. These include Hammir Mahal, Rani Mahal, Kachhari, Supari Mahal, Badal Mahal, Jaura-Bhaura, 32 pillared umbrella, Ranihar Talab Pir Saddaddin's Dargah, Lakshmi Narayan Temple Jain Temple and the famous Ganesh Ji Temple in the entire country. Location. There are ponds and other reservoirs on the side of the fort. History does not give correct information about the date of construction of the famous Ranthambore fort and its makers.

       This fort got the most glory from the unique sacrifice and sacrifice of the brave and mighty king Rao Hammir Dev Chauhan. Hammir provided asylum to the rebel commander of Sultan Alauddin Khilji, my Muhammad Shah, whom Alauddin attacked Ranthambore with a huge army in 1301 AD to punish and fulfill his imperial ambition. At first he sent his commander Nusrat Khan to conquer Ranthambore but he was killed by stones thrown by the fort of Durg in the siege of the fort. For this reason, Alauddin himself came to victory and surrounded the fort, Veer Hammir fought this attack vigorously.

In this fort, the temple of Trinetra Ganesha, which is included in the world heritage, is situated, reaching the Ganesh temple between the Aravalli and Vindhyachal hills gives a different experience with religious faith. This temple is one of the four Swambhu temples of India and people come here to visit, not only from India but also from all over the world, to ask for ransom and Lord Ganesha fulfills it. This is the only temple of Ganesha in the whole world where he sits in his entire family with two wife Riddhi-Siddhi and two sons auspicious and beneficent. This temple is situated at the district headquarters of Sawai Madhopur at a distance of 182 kilometers from Jaipur. And Sawai is located 13 km from Madhopur at an altitude of about 1579 feet.

      अगर किसी हिल स्टेशन पर घूमना चाहते है और बजट कम हो तो कोई बात नहीं  तो मै आज आपको उत्तराखंड के खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशन रानीखेत की सैर कराता हूँ। रानीखेत उत्तराखंड राज्य का खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशन है जो हिमालय के पहाड़ और जंगलों को आपस में जोड़ता है। यहाँ की प्रकिर्तित सुंदरता और शांत माहोल सभी को अपनी और बुलाता है यह खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशन अंग्रेजो द्वारा बसाया गया था। यहां अब बहुत सारे होटल और लॉज उपलब्ध है जिसमे आपको रुकने में कोई  होगी। यहाँ जंगलों में कई सारे वन्यजीव पाए जाते है जैसे काला भालू ,कस्तूरी मृग,गोरल,तेंदुआ आदि। यहाँ बहुत सारे पक्षी भी पाए जाते है जैसे-ग्रे बटेर,काला तीतर,व्हिस्लिंग थ्रश,चकोर,चीयर तीतर,मोनाल तीतर आदि। यहाँ घूमने के लिए बहुत सारे प्राचीन मंदिर भी है जहां पर आप शांति प्राप्त कर सकते है। यहां सबसे ज्यादा आकर्षण का केंद्र यहां के घुमावदार खेत है। 

       रानीखेत में भारतीय सेना का कुमाऊं रेजिमेंट भी है। यहां पर कुमाऊं रेजिमेंटल सेंटर संग्रहालय भी है, जो सेना के स्वर्णिम इतिहास तो बतलाता है। इस जगह पर जाने पर आपको सेना के बारे में बहुत कुछ जानने को मिलेगा। यहां पर भालू नाम से एक बांध भी है जहां आप वन विभाग की परमिशन से मछलियों को पकड़ने का आनंद ले सकते है। 

       रानीखेत के पास ही कलिका पर्यटन स्थल भी है जो यहां के जंगलों और बर्फ से ढंके पहाड़ों से घिरी हुई है इस जगह पर कलिका देवी का  मंदिर है। रानीखेत में गोल्फ खेलने के लिए भी मैदान उपलब्ध है जो रानीखेत से ५ किलोमीटर की दुरी पर स्थित है जो बहुत ही कम पैसों में उपलब्ध है। 

        रानीखेत में माँ दुर्गा का प्राचीन मंदिर झूला देवी अति प्रशिद्ध है जो मंदिर में लगी घंटियों के डिज़ाइन के लिए भी जाना जाता है यहां राम मंदिर भी है रानीखेत के पास में ही बहुत सारी घूमने की जगहे उपलब्ध है जैसे आप चौबटिया बाग जहां आप सेब,प्लम,आनु और खुबानी के फलों का आनंद ले सकते है। रानीखेत से आप नंदा देवी,नीलकंठ ,नंदघुन्टी और त्रिशूल की चोटियां देख सकते है और मनकामेश्वर मंदिर,माँ मनीला देवी मंदिर भी जा सकते है और दर्शन कर सकते है।

उत्तरप्रदेश का यह शहर अन्य शहरों से  छोटा है लेकिन यहां घूमने और समय बिताने के लिए बहुत ही सूंदर स्थान उपलब्ध है जिनकी खूबसूरती देखकर आप यहां घंटो समय बिता सकते है। जो गोरखपुर की खूबसूरती को बड़ा देते है। 

१-गोरखनाथ मंदिर :-यह मंदिर धार्मिक और आध्यात्मिक दृश्टिकोण से गोरखपुर का प्रमुख मंदिर है। यहां कई राज्यों जैसे यूपी,बिहार,उत्तराखंड आदि राज्यों से लोग यहां आते है। यहां नेपाल से भी लोग आते है क्योंकि नेपाल में गुरु गोरखनाथ पूजे जाते है। नेपाल के राजा की खिचड़ी अब भी चढ़ती है। यहां मकर संक्रांति पर छह -सात लाख शृद्धालु पूजा -पाठ करते है। मालूम होता है की ज्वालादेवी के स्थान से परिभ्रमण करते हुए गुरु गोरखनाथ ने आकर भगवती राप्ती के तटवर्ती क्षेत्र में तपस्या की थी। और उसी स्थान पर अपनी दिव्या समाधी लगाई थी। जहां गोरखनाथ मंदिर बना है। इसकी भव्यता दूर से दिखती है। 

२-रामगढ़ताल:- शहर के दक्षिण-पूर्वी छोर पर १७०० एकड़ क्षेत्र में फैला रामगढ़ताल प्रकृति की अनुपम धरोहर है। शुरआत में छठी ईसा पूर्व शताब्दी में गोरखपुर का नाम रामग्राम था जहां कोलिय गढ़राज्य स्थापित था। उस जमाने में राप्ती नदी  आज के रामगढ़ताल से होकर गुजरती थी बाद में राप्ती नदी की दिशा बदली तो यह स्थान रामगढ़ताल के रूप में परिबर्तित हो गया। आज कल रामगढ़ताल पूर्वांचल का मरीन ड्राइव बन गया है यहां लोग नौकायन व् वाटर स्पोर्ट्स का भी आनंद लेते है। 

3-गीता प्रेस:-हिन्दू धार्मिक ग्रंथो और पुस्तकों को प्रकाशित करने वाली पहली प्रेस है गीता प्रेस जो १९२३ से चल कर आज भी चल रही है गोरखपुर ए हुए सभी पर्यटक हिन्दू धर्म की सभी धार्मिक पुस्तके और ग्रन्थ पढ़ व् खरीद सकते है। इस प्रेस से आज भी कई साडी पत्रिकाएं प्रकाशित की जा रही है जैसे कल्याण व् कल्पतरु। यह प्रेस आज भी बहुत प्रशिद्ध है। 

४-कुसम्ही वन:- यह बहुत ही घना जंगल है जो गोरखपुर से ९ किलोमीटर की दुरी पर है। इस घने जंगल में बुढ़िया माई का प्रशिद्ध मंदिर है यह मंदिर बहुत दूर -दूर तक प्रशिद्ध है यहां मुख्यमंत्री आदित्यनाथ अक्सर पूजा करने आते है।  जंगल के अंदर ही आकर्षण विनोद पार्क और छोटा चिड़ियाघर भी है। जिसमे वन विभाग पर्यटक की सुविधाओं का प्रभंध करता है। 

५-बौद्ध संग्रहालय:- रामगढ़ताल क्षेत्र में स्थित राजकीय बौद्ध संग्रहालय एक आकर्षण का केंद्र है जहां बहुत सरे पर्यटक घूमने आते है। इस संग्रहालय की स्थापना १९८७ में गयी थी जिसमे मध्यकालीन पुरातात्विक बस्तुए है इनमे पतथर की बस्तुए,कांश्य की मूर्तियां जैसी बहुत सारी आकर्षण की चीजे प्रदर्शित जाती है।

3-Gita Press: -Hindu is the first press to publish religious texts and books, Gita Press which has been running since 1923, all the tourists of Gorakhpur can buy and read all the religious books and texts of Hindu religion. Many Sadi magazines are still being published from this press such as Kalyan and Kalpataru. This press is still very popular today.

4 -Kusamhi forest: - It is a very dense forest which is at a distance of 9 km from Gorakhpur. In this dense forest, there is a temple of old lady Mai, this temple is very far away, where Chief Minister Adityanath often comes to worship. The attraction inside the forest is Vinod Park and small zoo. In which the Forest Department manages the tourist facilities.

5-Buddhist Museum: - The Government Buddhist Museum located in Ramgarhtal area is a center of attraction where a lot of tourists come to visit. This museum was established in 1949, which contains medieval archaeological objects, in which a lot of attractions are displayed, such as Pathatar objects, bronze sculptures.

                 देहरादून- यमुना और गंगा नदियों के बीच बसा  एक खूबसूरत शहर हैं। जो यहाँ की बेहद खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशनों से घिरा  हुआ है। २००० से पहले देहरादून को रिटायर्ड लोगो का शहर कहा जाता था। दून घाटी अपनी खूबसूरती ,शांत माहौल ,यहां की नहरों , बासमती चावल ,लीची ,बेकरी उत्पादों और शिक्षण संस्थानों के लिए जाना जाता है। ९ नवंबर २००० को नए राज्य उत्तरांचल के निर्माण के बाद देहरादून को अस्थायी राजधानी बनाया गया। राजधानी बनने के बाद देहरादून का विकास बहुत तेजी से हुआ और यहां की आबादी भी बहुत तेजी से बढ़ना सुरु हो गई। लेकिन अब भी दून  शिक्षा का हब मसूरी-चकराता जैसे बेहद खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशनो और दून स्कूल जैसे शिक्षण संस्थानों के लिए प्रशिद्ध है। 

गंगा-यमुना के बीच बसा शहर :-

देहरादून उत्तर में हिमालय से और दक्षिण में शिवालिक पहाड़ियों से घिरा हुआ है। पूर्व में गंगा नदी और पश्चिम में यमुना नदी प्राकतिक सीमा बनाती है देहरादून दो प्रमुख भागो में बंटा हुआ है जो मुख्या शहर देहरादून एक खुली घाटी है जो कि शिवालिक तथा हिमालय से घिरी हुई है और दूसरे भाग में जौनसार बावर है जो हिमालय के पहाड़ी भाग में स्थित है। 

    देहरादून उत्तर और उत्तर पश्चिम में उत्तरकाशी जिले,पूर्व में टिहरी और पौडी जिले से घिरा हुआ है इसकी पश्चिमी सीमा पर हिमाचल प्रदेश का सिरमौर जिला तथा टोंस और यमुना नदिया है तथा दक्षिण में हरिद्वार जिले और उत्तर प्रदेश के सहारनपुर जिले इसकी सीमा बनाते है। गंगा और यमुना के आलावा देहरादून में आने वाली अन्य नदियां आसान,सुसवा,टोंस,रिस्पाना,बिंदाल और अमलवा है।

 

    देहरादून के १४७७ वर्ग किलोमीटर क्षेत्रफल का ४३.७० फीसदी है इनसे ईंधन चारे बांस और औषधीय जड़ी बूटियों की आपूर्ति के साथ ही शहद,लाख गम,राल,केटचू मोम सींग और छिपी जैसे विभिन्न उत्पाद मिलते है।

NUBRA GHATI AK KHUBSURAT GHATI

         नुब्रा घाटी लद्धाख में स्थित एक बहुत ही खूबसूरत और आकर्षित जगह है जो अपनी अलोकिक सुंदरता के लिए बहुत ही फेमस है जो देश में ही नहीं जबकि दुनिया में भी प्रसिद्ध है । आज हम आपको नुब्रा घाटी की सैर कराते है यह घाटी बहुत ही ऊंची - ऊंची पहाड़ियों से घिरी हुईं हैं । यहां की सुंदरता को देखकर आप खो जायेंगे और एक अलग ही आनंद का अनुभव होगा। नुब्रा का मतलब "फूलों की घाटी" होता है इस घाटी को लद्दाख के बाग के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।यह घाटी गुलाबी और पीले जंगली गुलाब के फूलों से लदी हुई है। 

यह घाटी लेह से 150 किमी की दूरी पर स्थित है इस घाटी का इतिहास बहुत ही पुराना है इतिहासकारों के अनुसार यह घाटी सातवी शताब्दी ई पूर्व  से भी पुरानी है। इस  पर चीनी और मंगोलिया ने भी कई बार किया। 

नुब्रा घाटी जाने का सही समय  :-

इस घाटी में जाने का सही समय मई महीने से लेकर सितम्बर माह तक है। जबकि सर्दियों में यहा जाना बहुत कस्टकर होता है। 

बहुत खूबसूरत लगती है यह घाटी :-

यह घाटी प्रकृति के नजारों से भरी हुई है। इस घाटी की रेत और पहाड़ियां यहां की सुंदरता को और भी बड़ा देती हैं यहाँ का मौसम बहुत ही ठंडा रहता है। यह घाटी श्योक नदियों के बीच में बसा है। यहां की संस्कृति भी बहुत अलग है।

NEEL KANTH MANDIR--BHAGWAN SHIV KA AK SWARDIM DWAR

                                                       नीलकंठ मंदिर

         नीलकंठ मंदिर भगवान शिव  पहुत प्रसिद्द मंदिर है जो उत्तराखंड में स्थित ऋषिकेश शहर से २०किमी  है। यहां जाने के लिए आपको लक्ष्मण  झूला से बोलेरो की गाड़ियां मिल जाती है जो लगभग ५०/- हर व्यक्ति का लेते है। यहाँ से नीलकंठ जाने में आपको लगभग ३० मिनट लगेंगे।

         यहां शिवजी की पूजा अर्चना के लिए गंगा जल की आवश्यकता होती है। जो आप गंगा नदी से ले सकते है। बाकि मंदिर परिशर में उपलब्ध पूजा वाली शॉप्स से भी ले सकते है  वैसे तो यहां पूजा के लिए बहुत सी सामग्री थाल मिलते है किन्तु भगवान शिव को केवल गंगा जल और बेलपात ही पसंद है। कहा जाता है कि समुद्र मंथन से निकला हलाहल विष भगवान शिव ने इसी स्थान पर कंठ में धारण किया था जिस कारण से उनका कंठ नीला पड़ गया था और यह स्थान नीलकंठ कहलाया। नीलकंठ मंदिर ऋषिकेश में स्वर्ग आश्रम की पहाड़ी की चोटी पर बसा हुआ है। 

         श्रुति-स्मरति पुराण के अनुसार देव व् दानवों द्वारा समुद्र मंथन में निकले चौदह रत्नों में से एक कालकूट बिष का विषपान भगवान शिव द्वारा किया गया तथा जिसकी ज्वलंता को शांत करने के लिए भगवान शंकर ने पंकजा और मधुमती नदी के संगम समीप पंचपणी नामक वृक्ष के नीचे समाधिस्थ होकर साठ हजार वर्षो तक तप किया तथा कैलाश लोटने से पूर्व भगवान शिव द्वारा कंठ के रूप में जन कल्याण हेतु शिवलिंग स्थापित किया गया। वर्तमान समय में मंदिर में उपस्थित लिंग शिव जी द्वारा स्थापित किया गया जो की स्वंय भू लिंग है।

           इस  मंदिर की उचाई समुद्र ताल से ९४६ मीटर है

         Neelkanth Temple is the famous temple of Lord Shiva which is 20 km from the city of Rishikesh located in Uttarakhand. To get here you get Bolero carts from Lakshman Jhula which takes about 50 / - per person. It will take you about 30 minutes to reach Neelkanth from here.

         Here Ganga water is required for worshiping Shiva. Which you can take from the river Ganges. The rest of the temple can also be taken from the shops of worship available in the parish, although here many materials are available for worship, but Lord Shiva only likes Ganga water and Belpaat. It is said that Lord Shiva, the Halahal poison that came out of the churning of the sea, was worn in the throat at this place, due to which his throat became blue and this place was called Neelkanth. Neelkanth Temple is situated on the top of the hill of Swarg Ashram in Rishikesh.

        According to the Shruti-Smriti Purana, one of the fourteen gems, which were found in the churning of the ocean by the gods and demons, was poisoned by Lord Shiva, and to calm the burning, Lord Shankar asked for a tree called Panchapani near the confluence of Pankaja and Madhumati river. After meditating below, he meditated for sixty thousand years and before rolling Kailash, Shivling was established by Lord Shiva for public welfare in the form of a throat. Presently the Linga present in the temple was established by Shiva, which is its own land linga.  

   The height of this temple is 946  meters above sea level.

जागेश्वर धाम यात्रा

अल्मोड़ा जिले में स्थित जागेश्वर धाम भगवान  शिव का भव्य धाम है। यह मंदिर बहुत पुराना है यहां आप ७वी और १२ वी शताब्दी की आकर्षक वास्तुकला का नजारा देख सकते है यहां कुछ मंदिर २०वी शताब्दी से भी सम्बन्ध रखते है। लिंग पुराण के अनुसार यह मंदिर भगवान शिव का बारह ज्योतिर्लिंग में से एक है। यहां जाने के लिए आपको अपनी सेपरेट गाड़ी से जाना चाहिए क्योँकि यहाँ जाने के लिए ट्रैन केवल काठगोदाम तक ही जाती है यहां से आप कैब या टैक्सी बुक करनी पड़ेगी जिससे आप वहां से चलकर पहाड़ों की वादियों का मजा लेते हुए जा सकते है। साथ में बहती हुई नदी जो कल कल करती हुई आवाज़ बहुत ही सूंदर लगती है जिससे आपको जागेश्वर यात्रा करने का मजा ही आ जाता है। यहां नकटवर्ती हवाई अड्डा पंतनगर या देहरादून का जॉली ग्रांट है।यह स्थान सड़क मार्ग से बहुत अच्छी तरह से जुड़ा हुआ है।

यहां पहुंचकर आपको जयादा अच्छे होटल तो नहीं मिलेंगे किन्तु कुल मिलाकर अच्छे होटल मिल जायेंगे जहां यह होटल ज्यादा महंगे भी नहीं होते है। जिससे आपको यहां केवल ५०० /- में सही होटल मिल जायेंगे जिससे आप एक रात गुजार सके। साथ में यहां हर होटल वाला आपको गर्म पानी उपलब्ध करा देता है क्योँकि आप बिना गर्म पानी के नहा नहीं सकते यहां पहाड़ों से निकला ठंडा पानी बहुत ही ठंडा होता है।

मंदिर :-यहां मंदिर परिषर में भगवान शिव की हर रूप की मूर्तियाँ है जैसे दंडेश्वर मंदिर,चंडी का मंदिर,जागेश्वर मंदिर ,कुबेर मंदिर मृतुन्जय मंदिर,नंदा देवी और नौ गृह मंदिर और सूर्या मदिर ।  यहां छोटे बड़े लगभग २०० मंदिर है यहां पहुंचकर बहुत ही मनोरम प्रतीत होता है यहां सावन माह और महा शिवरात्रि पर बहुत ही भीड़ रहती है यहां के शिव मंदिर पर लोगो की बहुत मान्यता है। कुछ लोगो का मन्ना है के ये मंदिर कत्यूरी या चाँद राजवंश के दौरान के हो सकते है कहा जाता है की इनमे से कुछ मंदिरों का निर्माण आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य ने भी कराया था इन मंदिरों की वास्तुकला को देखकर लगता है कि इन मंदिरों का निर्माण पूजा के लिए नहीं किया जाता होगा क्योंकि अधिकांश मंदिरों के गर्भगृह अपेक्षाकृत बहुत छोटे है,जहां एक पुजारी भी नहीं बैठ सकता। 

जागेश्वर धाम  अल्मोड़ा से ३६ किमी उत्तर पूर्व दिशा में स्थित है जो कुमाऊं रीजन में जटागंगा नदी के किनारे स्थित है यहां देवदार के पेड़ों की बहुत संख्या है और इन वृक्षों की ऊंचाई बहुत होती है के लिए बहुत साफ रास्ते है जहां आप अपनी गाड़ी से पहाड़ों के अद्भुत नज़रों  आनंद लेते हुए जा सकते है। 

पुराणों के अनुसार शिवजी और सप्तऋषिओं ने यहां तपश्या की थी। कहा जाता है कि प्राचीन समय में जागेश्वर मंदिर में मांगी गई मन्नते उसी रूप में स्वीकार हो जाती थी जिसका भरी दुरूपयोग हो रहा था। आठवीं शताब्दी में आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य जागेश्वर आये  और उन्होंने महा मृतुन्जय में स्थापित शिवलिंग को कीलित करके इस दुरूपयोग को रोकने की व्यबस्था की। शंकराचार्य जी द्वारा कीलित किये जाने के बाद से अब यहां दूसरों के लिए बुरी कामना करने वालों की मनोकामनाएं पूरी नहीं होती केवल यज्ञ एवं अनुष्ठान से मंगलकारी मनोकामनाएं ही पूरी हो सकती है।

NAINITAL

        नैनीताल एक बहुत ही खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशन है  जो उत्तराखंड की पहाड़ियों में बसा है। इसे उत्तराखंड राज्य का स्वर्ग कहा जाता है। यह बहुत ही खूबसूरत जगह है यहा आप कभी भी किसी भी  मौसम में जा सकते है । नैनीताल में उत्तराखंड का हाई कोर्ट भी है। जो उत्तराखंड की जुडिसियरी राजधानी भी है। यहां हर मौसम में सैलानियों का जमावड़ा लगा रहता है यह नैनी झील की पहाड़ियों पर बसा हुआ है पूरे नैनीताल में नैनी झील का ही पानी उपयोग में लाया जाता है। यहा घूमने के लिए ७ पॉइंट है जो बहुत ही खुबसुरत लगता है।

      १-टिफिन टॉप :-यह नैनीताल की सबसे ऊँची पहाड़ी है जिससे  आप नंदा देवी पर्वत माला के दर्शन कर सकते है जो बहुत ही लुभावने लगते है ,यहाँ जब मौसम साफ हो तो आप इस पर्वत माला को बिना किसी दूरबीन के देख सकते है अन्यथा आपको दूरबीन का सहारा लेना पड़ेगा। यहां दूरबीन की मदद  से अपना घर चलाते है जो नंदा देवी पर्वत माला को दिखने के ५०/- लेते है जिसमे आपको ये लोग बॉलीबॉल स्टेडियम के भी दर्शन करते है जहा क्रिस फिल्म की सूटिंग हुई थी। यहां से ये लोग आर्मी बेस कैंप भी दीखता है।

     २- एडवेंचर पार्क :-यह जगह भी नैना पीक पर ही बनी हुई है जहां आप बहुत सारे एडवेंचर कर सकते  है जहां  हर एडवेंचर का अलग अलग प्राइस है। इसमें आप रोप क्लाइम्बिंग ,बाइक रेसिंग आदि कर सकते है।

     ३- ठंडी गुफा :-यह जगह भी नैनीताल की पहाड़ियों पर बसा है जो दो पहाड़ियों के बीच एक खुला स्थान है झा खड़े होने पर आपको बहुत ही ठंडी हवाएं आती है। जहां आप थोड़ी देर रूक सकते है और साथ में मक्का के दानो. का आनंद ले सकते है जो बहुत ही अट्रैक्टिव लगता है।

     ४-मैंगो लेक :-इस स्थान से जब आप नैनी झील को देखेंगे तो आपको ये झील आम के आकर की लगती है। जो बहुत ही खूबसूरत जान पडती है।

    ७ -नैना देवी टेम्पल :-यह मंदिर नैनी लेक पर बना भव्य मंदिर है जो बहुत ही खूबसूरत है,जहां से झील का व्यू बहुत सूंदर लगता है।

    ८-माल रोड :- यह यहाँ की बहुत खूबसूरत मार्किट है जहां हर तरह का सामान उचित दाम में मिल जाता है। यहां बहुत ही लजीज खाने के रेस्टोरेंट है। जहां आप स्वादिस्ट खाने के साथ ही झील की भव्य सुंदरता का आनंद ले सकते है।

     ९-स्नो व्यू पॉइंट :-यह नैनीताल की बहुत खूबसूरत जगह है जहां से स्नो व्यू बहुत ही खूबसूरत लगता है।

यहां होटल हर रेट पर मिल जाता है केवल सीजन को छोड़कर क्योँकि सीजन में यही होटल थोड़ा महंगे हो जाते है।

      अल्मोड़ा की बाल मिठाई देश में ही नहीं विदेशों में भी फेमस है जो इसकी खूबसूरती से चार चाँद लगाती है। यहां की बाल मिठाई ही नहीं बल्कि और भी मिठाइया भी काफी स्वादिस्ट होती है।
